Tomato Harvesters

SPECIAL P 135 is the new line of tomato harvesters designed with POMAC brand technology.
They are the ONLY harvesters on the market with an internal width of 135 centimetres from the harvesting head head to the shaker system.
The internal width of 135 centimetres is optimal for all tomato planting sizes.
The opening of the front plant dividers of the harvesting head can be adjusted to harvest plantations up to 180 cm with 40-50-60 cm bins.
With a weight of only 130 quintals, perfectly distributed on the 4 wheels, the SPECIAL P 135 line allows harvesting even in extreme conditions..
The internal transport belts have three bands with ‘traps’.
The width dimensions of the harvester for transport without an escort are interesting:

2.95 metres for the SPECIAL P 135-40 model, with 40-channel sorter/s.

3.10 meters for the SPECIAL P 135-45 model, with 45-channel sorter/s.

The dimensions of the conveyor belts, the perfect arrangement of the weights and the great visibility of all the working parts allow an hourly collection of 65 to 75 tons/hour.

1. The tomato unloading belt has been positioned behind the cabin since 1990: the tomato unloading is perfectly visible to the driver.
2. Harvesting head’s fingers are individually bolted for a super easy replacement.
3. The angle of inclination of the harvesting head with respect to the ground is only 21 ° degrees: harvesting is extremely easy and the tomato is not damaged.
4. The total weight is only 13 tons: the machine harvests even in extreme conditions (wet ground).
5. The mufflers are positioned laterally on the side of the machine: there is very easy access to the endothermic engine for its maintenance.

1. It is the ONLY machine on the market with an internal width of 135 cm from the head to the vibrating beam: the ideal width for all tomato seeding sizes. For some types of seeding, a 120 cm wide machine is too narrow, while a 150 cm wide machine is too wide and loads a lot of soil.

2. The first and second belt have three bands of 60 mm width. All the drive pinions are made of high-resistance rubber: the belt rods do not wear out.

3. The machine is 3.10 meters wide: road transport is easy and takes place with only the use of the flashing lights and without an escort.

4. The overall weight of the harvester is 130 quintals. The ratio between the engine power (218 hp

euro 5) and the weight of the machine is 1.7: the highest of all the harvesters on the market. Thanks to this quality, the machine is light and can harvest even in extreme conditions with considerable fuel savings (21 L/h).

5. The hydraulic system has been designed so that its maintenance is as simple as possible. Thanks to the 9 gear pumps for controlling the circuits, the applied power is low and the oil does not heat up: this allows fuel to be saved.

6. The harvesting head has a climbing angle with respect to the ground of only 21 degrees: this facilitates the climbing of the tomato, which does not suffer breakages. All the fingers of the head are bolted individually and can be replaced extremely easily during harvesting.

7. The optical sorters are of the latest generation and mount technologically advanced electronic components: the product selection is fast and precise and the sorters are able to expel even stones and black earth. The quantity of selected product is 60 tons/hour (40-channel sorter).

8. The harvester has large side opening covers and is perfectly accessible for cleaning and maintenance. The sheets that cover the engine are V-shaped: dirt can fall both in front and behind.

9. The two mufflers (Euro 5 compliant) are positioned laterally on the left side. This allows considerable ease of access to the internal combustion engine for maintenance: simply opening the engine hood is sufficient.

10. The machine is perfectly balanced because its weight is equally distributed over the 4 wheels. This allows the harvester to work even in extreme conditions (wet ground).

11. On the same frame as the machine, it is possible to mount electronic sorters with 40-45-50 channels,

depending on the customer's needs. The harvester can mount a single sorter, or double sorters in sequence.

12. The harvester is produced including a wide range of standard equipment, with the possibility of optional equipment upon customer request, as illustrated in our catalogue.

Super P 120 is the ‘classic’ Pomac harvester with an internal width of 120 cm.

It is suitable for harvesting plantations up to 160 cm with 45-45 cm bins.

With a weight of 120 quintals, perfectly distributed on the 4 wheels, the Super P 120 model harvests even in extreme conditions.

The harvester does not exceed 3 meters in width and is transported without an escort.

The Super P 120 model can mount a single or double 40 or 45 channel sorter and has an hourly harvesting capacity of 55 to 65 tons/hour.

Thanks to its essential equipment, the Junior P 120 model combines its affordability with perfect productivity for harvesting extensions between 40 and 70 hectares.

The Junior P 120 model has an internal width of 120 cm, suitable for harvesting plantations up to 160 cm with 45-45 cm bins.

It weighs less than 110 quintals perfectly distributed on the 4 wheels and harvests easily even in extreme conditions.

The Super P 120 model can mount a single or double electronic sorter of 35 or 40 channels and has an hourly harvesting capacity of 35 to 45 tons/hour.
